I am making room in my studio for my next endeavors and any treasures I might bring home from the antique doll auction I'm going to this week. The Helen Pringle doll has already sold, but I'll be listing some of these dolls over on my selling blog. I have what I call a "revolving doll collection". I don't really have the room or the discretionary income (don't you love that phrase?) to keep a large collection. My friend Shirley says,
"I believe art has a destiny to travel their journeys."
So I buy old things, study them, and then send them on the next leg of their journey.
