Cutting Antique Cloth

I've been working on my procrastination list.   Yesterday I crossed off an item, and that felt good.   I have 3 projects that are vying for attention and it's hard.  Sometimes you just have to do it and not worry about perfection.   A friend of mine and I were talking about how for some things in life getting it done at a B level is much better than not doing it at an A+ level.

I bought the red striped ticking when I was on vacation at an antiques show.  It was spendy for me.  I've had a hard time cutting it, really.  But I remind myself that it will not be fully what I want it to be until I "cut the cloth" and start sewing it into the pillow cover I want.  It's really pretty and isn't being presented in a great way just laying on a shelf in my sewing room.

That could explain the ridiculous piles of linen I have in there, uncut...

You are a brave woman, and I bet that pillow will make you happy every time you see it.
