Day 8: Focus On Finishing

Creative types often have a lot of starts.   I have quite a few starts in my workroom that need to become Finished.    I should have named this 31 Days to Finished.  ;-)

Notice it says September on this graphic?   Ha ha on me.

I spend a lot of time sculpting heads and lose steam when it comes to the less creative parts like arms, legs and clothing.  Although clothing can be very fun because you're dealing with color.

Knowing your work style is important so that you can plan around your strengths and weaknesses.

From now on,  I will make arms, legs and clothing and THEN sculpt.  Sculpting will be the reward.

Dixie...I am enjoying these posts. I so agree, do what is least rewarding first and save the really fun stuff as a reward. I like to think of it has eating the frogs of the day first:)
