Before Electronic Games - a Look at 1869

Show your kids what children in 1869 did to have fun!  

The book Games for Family Parties and Children by Laura Valentine has wonderful illustrations of the time.  And reminders, too, of games similar to what I played when I was young.  I bet some kid was thrilled to get a wooden hoop and this book and an orange at Christmas!  The images link to the book at Google Books.
