Works in Progress

The girl on the left is my favorite sculpt so far.
The stockinette went on so well!

The creation on the right above
is inspired by the primitive Izannah
on the front of Helen Nolan's book.

This girl above is the result of an experiment with oil paint for aging that went a little too far. Now I'm trying to decide whether to just leave her as she is or to repaint her. I'm reminded of why I switched from oils to water based paints when my children were young. One, I wanted to avoid the flammable solvents. ;-) Two, I hate waiting for paint to dry.

Poor boy. So patient.
Waiting for me to get it together
and put the banding on his pants
and make him a shirt.

And he's likely to wait a bit,
as summer vacation has started!
